The wife of Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and food processing minister in Narendra Modi’s cabinet -Harsimrat Kaur Badal barely scraped through with a few thousand vote victory over Indian National Congress party’s Raja Warring.
Though considered the underdog, Raja Warring put up a brave fight, with he and his wife and family touring the length and breadth of the constituency.
